Lighting, Sound, & Media

A Midsummer Night's Dream
By William Shakespeare

This was a class project that was during the Covid-19 shutdown. The concept stemmed from the fantastical elements of the fairies, and isolation of the humans.

Hamilton
By  Lin-Manuel Miranda

My approach to this class project was finding the core emotion of the stories and bringing to life onstage. Specifically for Burn, I wanted to see the turmoil that Eliza was going through, so I engulfed the stage in lit flames.

The Love Talker
By Deborah Pryor

This was a project where I directed and designed everything myself. This show is a dark fantasy and the lights needed to reflect that. To learn more click here.

Grads in Drag

This was the opening sequence to the short video series Grads in Drag featuring Dinah Plate. Click here for more info.

Eurydice
By Sarah Ruhl

This is sound effect is the moment when Eurydice descends into the underworld.

The Hitchhiker
By Lucille Fletcher

This sound scape was created to accompany a short 10 minute escape room. The purpose was to pay homage to the 1940 radio play. The concept was the idea of falling asleep at the wheel.

Quarantine Blues

This was a class project that was devised shortly after the Covid-19 shutdown. It was fully created on Bandlab.com.

Metamorphoses
By  Mary Zimmerman

This media was a class project made for the finale of Metamorphoses when King Midas is cured and reunited with his daughter.

Goblin Market
By Peggy Harmon and  Polly Pen

This media is supposed to be a story book come to like. The projection would be back lit and the red blob seen in the video is supposed to be a person for scale.

Frankenstein  Collaboration

This media was in collaboration with the music and textile department at Michigan State. As a group of three, we each contributed to the theme of Frankenstein, my contribution was this lightning that was timed with the music.
